Adele Luallen is a senior at University High School who is involved in clubs like Girls in STEM and FCA. She has been dancing and performing with Uptown dance for around 14 years, and considers dance a large part of her life and who she is. Adele is excited to try a different type of English class this year where she can write and publish real stories about her school. She has always loved reading, and that love of reading has turned into a love of painting pictures with her words. Adele is most excited for the photography aspect of journalism and the ways that she will be able to shape the stories she tells by the photos that she uses. Another reason that she loves her journalism is because it provides reasons to spend time with some of her friends, from trips to Uptown to photographing events together. She is looking forward to helping build the ‘25-’26 yearbook, and hopes that it will be an accurate and exciting representation of her last year at this school.
