This is AJ’s first year in journalism and he is excited to provide insight into the students, teachers, and many characters of the U-High community. AJ is a three-sport athlete at U-High as he plays football and basketball, and he runs track. He also is involved with many clubs such as being the vice president of the Spanish club, helping out with U-Build, and being a member of the student diversity committee here at U-High. So far this year, AJ has had fun using his experiences in sports to apply to his stories. Additionally, his favorite part of journalism this year has been learning about photography from the experts in the class like Gabe Zacharias.
