Amaya Fernandes is a junior reporter and photographer for the Clarionette. She joined journalism because this class provides an opportunity for her to become more involved, meet new people, and tell their stories the best that she can. Amaya likes to write and is talented at highlighting the qualities of others. She values academics and wants to go into the medical field when she is older. Amaya also plays varsity tennis for U-High and plays throughout the school year. Amaya is always keeping busy but always gives her best in everything that she does.
