Aubry Blake is a senior in high school who plans to study Veterinary Science in college in hopes of becoming a veterinarian and owning her own animal hospital. This year is her first year in Journalism, and she is loving her time in this class. Her favorite part of being a journalist is interviewing different people in the U-High community learning more about different groups of students and their opinions on different topics. In her opinion, being in Journalism is a great way to meet and learn about new people while also getting better at writing. Her favorite event she took pictures at was at the male volleyball game because a lot of students showed up, and she captured good pictures of students having fun. She recommends doing journalism to anyone who wants to get out of their comfort zone on interviews, learn how to take professional pictures and get creative on yearbook pages and articles.
