Emalee Alsman (she/her) is a first-year journalism student and a Senior at U-High.  Her favorite unit of journalism this year has been photography, but she also likes writing. You can see her taking photos at football games and concerts, but she enjoys taking photos of nature the most. Emalee is working on the band and musical spread for the yearbook this year. 

Emalee also participates in Tennis, Chamber Orchestra, and Math team. In her free time, she likes to volunteer at Pet Central Helps, a local animal shelter, rewatch Suits on Netflix, and play BlockBlast. Currently, her high score is 6,800, which she hopes to improve over Winter Break. Emalee has one sister, Elle, who also attends U-High as a sophomore.
