Mayaih Russell joined the staff in her junior year and is currently working as an Editor. She takes the most pride in her photography and feature works as a columnist. Mayaih loves to immerse herself in the subject of her writing and dive deep into research. A fond memory of Mayaih’s is the two class trips to Uptown Normal where she practiced different still-life photography techniques. Mayaih looks forward to competing in the IHSA Sectional Journalism competition in April next year. She also looks forward to the resurgence of the Clarrionette podcast and exploring new ideas with this year’s staff.
