The male volleyball game was Penny Gardner’s favorite event as the spirit stick holder so far this year. “Getting to compete against your own school is just a fun environment,” Gardner said. “It's fun to run that student section when the boys are playing and it honestly gave me more confidence too, because I realized that I can be outgoing and that I can run a crowd.”
