Brenna Whitehead is a senior at Normal University High School and currently in her first year of journalism. She is deeply involved in U-High cheer, competing on the varsity competitive team while also cheering on the sidelines during both football and basketball seasons. Her love for cheer goes hand in hand with her excitement for staying busy, spending time with others, and being involved in something bigger than just her own experience.

Outside of cheer, Brenna enjoys spending time with her friends and family, whether it’s going out, relaxing at home, or just catching up. She thrives on staying busy and values the balance between school, sports and her social life.

Brenna is excited to explore storytelling through interviews and real-life experiences. She’s interested in capturing the voices of her classmates and uncovering the personal stories behind the scenes. With a fresh perspective, a strong work ethic, and a love for people, Brenna hopes to grow as both a writer and observer in her first year.
