Artist’s Corner: Katie Reeves

“When I was younger, I liked to pretend that I knew how to draw. I used to draw horses and they were pretty awful. I was never interested in art until sophomore year,” Reeves said. “I took Art Fundamentals with Mr. Henning and it was a really good experience. He was a really good teacher.”

“The first painting was based on my great-grandma’s painting in her house. It goes along with my concentration, which is water,” Reeves said.

“The other one, I really like pen, as a medium, and I found that picture off of a photographer on Instagram,” Reeves said. “So I decided to do it.”
